Counseling
The mission of the Cartersville Elementary School professional school counseling program is to provide a comprehensive developmental program that addresses the academic, career, social and emotional growth of all students. In partnership with other school and community members, school counselors assist in developing the skills necessary to prepare students to live successful and productive lives.
We also help coordinate and support the following programs:
- Individual Counseling
- Small Group Counseling
- Monthly Classroom Lessons with each Homeroom Teacher
- Rising 4th Grade Orientation
- Rising 6th Grade Orientation
- Career Week
- Personal Safety Lessons
- Red Ribbon Week Activities
- Assist in Attendance Support Team Meetings
