Tome Society
What is Tome Society?
Tome Society is a book club for students in grades 2-12. Students in club chapters read and discuss great books, create items to enter in literacy-based competitions, and participate in virtual and in-person literacy events.
Who can participate?
Tome is for all students, not just a Reading Bowl team! The Reading bowl team has already been formed for the year and consists of members who will read this year's Club Tome books and take assessments over each. However, there are 19 different leterary projects studentc can complete for a chance to be abel to attend TomeCom and represent our school.
What are the competitions?
Students may compete in as many competitions as they like at the local level; however, chapters may only submit 1 entry per category per year on the national level. Entries are submitted digitally twice a school year by the chapter adviser for national judging. See the full list of competitions, rules and details on the Competitions page.
